Sunrise at 'The Arcadia' at East Strand, Portrush.
Out for a morning walk in the deep winter of 2021 during lockdown, this amazing sunrise appeared out of nowhere on a grey, cloudy, windy morning. I knew immediately I would have to paint it!
It was licensed by our local 'Lacada' Brewery for use on their 'Community of Hope' Beer Cans in 2022.
It was also the namesake of my first ever solo exhibition in 2021, titled 'Hold onto Hope', held in The Arcadia...what a full circle moment!
